Waterford Technologies is a multinational company which provides Data Management solutions in the area of Email and File Archiving and Fax Solutions for an extensive array of clients across public and private sectors.
The Challenge
In 2015, Waterford Technologies required updating of their legacy systems and the creation of a search facility for archived customer information with an integrated invoice generator.
The Solution
Aspira’s C++ Developer designed the backend services for searching customer archived files from various data stores. Customers can dynamically create a multi-level nested SQL query from the web UI and the result is shown on the front end or notified via email. All snapshots and backups done by the agent have a cost associated with it. Aspira created the Backend billing service to calculate the customer usage to charge them accordingly.
Components of the Legacy system GoldFax were updated, written in C++ 6.0.
Aspira provided added support for a centralised Address book in MySQL server to support multiple users. A new Fax workflow to Support inbound and outbound PDF format for the customer was added. New SMTP Gateway with TLS to support outbound Fax messages was created.
The Result
Aspira provided the complete solution to meet the Client’s technical requirements including development, test and support.
