Overview

Aspira’s Mission is “to take the chaos out of Project Management”. This training course provides detailed insight into Project Management best practices, covering all the areas specified by the PMI®. This course uses the latest edition (5th Edition – March 2013) PMBOK Guide® as its core reference. Professional Project Management is designed to establish a detailed understanding of Project Management terms, concepts and methodologies. The hands-on approach of this course ensures trainees “learn by doing” and gain a step-by-step, real-time experience of using the tools and implementing the methodologies and support structures. In simulating real-life environments, trainees gather the detailed knowledge required to apply the training on return to their work environment. The course is designed to be practical and help people apply the knowledge to the workplace. The course uses PMBOK Guide® 5th Edition as its reference and so helps prepare people for PMI® Certification if this is a future goal. Course follow-up includes provision of soft copies of a number of PMBoK-compliant Project management Tools and Templates – ready for immediate use in the workplace. This course is approved by the PMI®, and students who successfully complete this course are awarded 24 PM Contact Hours or Professional Development Units (PDUs) which is documented via a PMI® REP® certificate from Aspira. Completion of this course also gets participants two thirds of their way to meeting their PMP® certification as well as meeting the training requirements for CAPM® Certification.
